Philadelphia Union faced off against Toronto FC on Wednesday night at BMO Field, falling 3-1. In the first half, Toronto’s Lorenzo Insigne opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a right footed shot from the center of the box. Just before half, forward Julian Carranza equalized from close range to make it 1-1. In the second half, Toronto responded with two goals in the 58th and 63rd minute to secure all three points at home. The Union outshot Toronto 17 to 12, but could not find the back of the net.
